WHAT IS THE
BATTLE OF THE BURGER?
April 1-30, 2022, restaurants in and around Lunenburg are facing off in a battle royale in hopes of winning the Battle of the BURGer.
Participating restaurants have concocted creative burgers and are running them on their menus throughout the month. For every burger purchased, a minimum of $1 will be donated to The BURG Classic and, in turn, to recipients the BURG supports and funds. Vote for your favourite burger (below) for a chance to win the grand prize, starting April 1!
The winning burger, its creators, and the winning voter will be announced on our Facebook page in early May.

The Guacamoo Burger
A 1/3 pound grilled all beef patty, smothered in our own BBQ sauce and topped with jalapeño havarti cheese, greens, tomato, house made onion rings, pickled jalapeños, and chipotle mayo on a toasted
Pulled Pork Mac ‘N’ Cheese Burger
6oz of hand-formed fresh Atlantic beef with baby spinach & garlic aioli, topped with mac ‘n’ cheese with our three cheese jalapeño pilsner sauce, local pulled pork in Banker smoked porter bbq sauce, served on a local artisan bun, topped fried jalapeños and a pickle.

Great Canadian Maple Burger
Made with pure fresh local grass-fed beef, real Canadian cheddar, grilled bacon, pure Nova Scotian maple syrup, lettuce, and mayonnaise all on a toasted bun.

Smoke on the Water Burger
Two smash patties, house-smoked havarti, Lumberjack ale onion jam, pickled apples, arugula and smoked aioli on a Boathouse potato bun, served with fries.
Gilled Atlantic beef burger topped with buffalo mozzarella, sliced vine tomato, basil, sea salt, balsamic glaze, crispy prosciutto, and pesto aioli. Served with a classic caesar salad or french fries.

Deli Fish "O" Fillet Burger
Crispy Panko crusted local cod wit creamy Red cabbage slaw, house tartar sauce, arugula, and pickles on a brioche bun.
Sweet Chilli Crunch Salmon Burger
A salmon steak fried in Sweet Chill Heat Doritos on brioche bun with romaine lettuce, tomato, red onion, banana peppers, and sweet chilli sauce. Served with fries.

Chipotle Chicken Bacon Burger
$16 with corn chips and salsa
Spiced chicken breast, smoked bacon, jack cheese, guacamole, red onion tomato, and homemade chipotle mayo served on a local organic viennois bun.

VOTE for your favourite burger for a chance to be entered for the grand prize! The winning burger, its creators, and the winning voter will be announced during the championship games on March 29. Winners will be contacted via email if not present.
