NS WILDFIRE SUPPORT

The BURG Classic allocated special, one-time support for individuals or families displaced by emergency evacuation orders related to the Nova Scotia wildfires in Tantallon/Hammonds Plains, Barrington, and Shelburne. Funds were made available to individuals or families who come from, work in, or are tied to Lunenburg and surrounding communities and were designed to help with out-of-pocket expenses as those displaced navigate insurance and unexpected costs.

Applications for support have now closed and those who applied have been contacted by the BURG Classic Committee.
